Prerelease season is here, the full card list is out, and we finally know exactly what’s in Delta Reign, and what’s not.

The full list is out

PokeBeach has published the complete English Delta Reign card list ahead of the November 6 release. It’s the sixth Mega Evolution set, and unusually, it’s built from two Japanese sources: Japan’s Storm Emeralda set plus 30 unique cards from Japan’s MEGA Starter Decks (Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex).

Prerelease Build & Battle Boxes went on sale at select Play! Pokémon stores on October 24, per Pokémon. PokeBeach puts prerelease events at October 24 through November 1. Check Pokémon’s Event Locator for a store near you.

The cut cards

The full list answers a question collectors have been asking since the Japanese release: what’s missing. Two notable cuts, per PokeBeach:

  • The full-art Mega Rayquaza ex from Storm Emeralda is not in the English set. PokeBeach’s guess is that it’s being saved for a future boxed product.
  • The regular Eevee ex from the MEGA Starter Decks is also cut.

And one earlier report is settled: the Kyogre promo is in the Elite Trainer Box. Pokémon Center’s own listing for its ETB includes two full-art foil Kyogre promos (our preorder rundown).

The split Legendary Stadiums

The two-card “Legendary” Stadiums are real: two halves you need both of to play, a throwback to the LEGEND cards of the HeartGold & SoulSilver era (think Lugia LEGEND). Pokémon’s set page already shows both halves of Legendary Summit, and its October preview showed Legendary Pyroduct (our breakdown). Per PokeBeach, both halves share a name, so you can only run two complete Stadiums in a deck. They’re also why the previewed Groudon gets +170 damage with a Legendary Stadium in play.

Store promos, and the Macy’s debut

The store promo lineup is official, from Pokémon’s October 23 announcement: starting November 6, spend $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products at a participating retailer and get a promo card as a gift with purchase. The offer is valid in-store and online, while supplies last, so retailer stock is the real gatekeeper here, not the $15.

One discrepancy worth flagging: PokeBeach listed BoxLunch among the Kyogre retailers, but Pokémon’s official page says Five Below. The official list wins.

The headline for U.S. collectors, per PokeBeach: this is the first time Macy’s has offered Pokémon promo cards. All three promos carry the Pokémon 30 “What’s Your Favorite?” anniversary logo (confirmed by Pokémon), and PokeBeach expects them to be printed in cosmos holofoil.

Key dates

  • October 24: Build & Battle Boxes go on sale at select stores (prerelease events run through November 1, per PokeBeach)
  • November 6: Full release, and store promos start

If you’re chasing all three promos, that’s three different retailers, so plan your $15 purchases accordingly. And if the full-art Mega Rayquaza ex was your chase card, keep it on the want list. It’s not in this set, and where it lands next is speculation. PokeBeach’s guess is a future boxed product, nothing more.

For the rest of the set, see everything confirmed before the November 6 release.
