The Happy Meal card chase may be back this fall. PokéBeach reports a U.S. McDonald’s x Pokémon TCG promotion from November 5 through December 9, 2026. That is a report, not a McDonald’s or Pokémon announcement. As of this writing, I found no official 2026 U.S. announcement confirming those dates or the card lineup. Hold the calendar in pencil, not permanent marker.

What PokéBeach reports

DetailCurrent status
U.S. runNovember 5-December 9, 2026, per PokéBeach; not officially confirmed
Cards15 total, per PokéBeach; past promotions usually had six confetti-foil holos
Happy Meal packPast promotions: four cards, one holo and three non-holo; 2026 contents not confirmed
Card identitiesNot yet revealed
Other countriesPromotion reportedly planned, with dates that may differ

PokéBeach also says customers may be able to choose between a Pokémon toy and a Pokémon Essential Handbook; its suggestion that the toy could be a card display is explicitly unconfirmed. The report says past promotions have used reprints. It does not establish that every 2026 card will be a reprint, or that any particular Pikachu promo is coming to the U.S.

What is confirmed

There is precedent, but precedent is not a 2026 checklist. Pokémon’s official January 2025 announcement described a four-card booster and sticker sheet with that year’s Happy Meal. That official page refers to 2025, not the reported 2026 promotion. A new announcement from Pokémon or McDonald’s would settle the dates, participating locations, pack contents, and actual checklist.

Collector game plan

If the report holds, this looks like a fun small-set chase, not a reason to buy dinner by the case. My take: wait for the official checklist, check local participation, and trade duplicates before treating a shiny wrapper as a market forecast. Availability and resale values are unknown. The best part of a Happy Meal promotion ought to be that kids can actually get one.
