Three packages, one festive 200-card base set, and a decision that should be easier than assembling a toy at midnight. Topps lists a Mega Box, Collector Tin, and Advent Calendar for 2026 Holiday Baseball. The best fit depends on whether you want a featured card, tins and parallels, or the daily-opening ritual.

Compare the formats

FormatConfigurationStated drawBest fit
Mega Box10 packs x 10 cardsOne autograph, relic, autographed relic, or Base Chrome Variation card per box, per Topps Ripped; Mega-only Glitter Holiday parallels and ornament topperCollector seeking the widest parallel lane in one box
Collector Tin59 cards per tin; Topps sells a three-tin boxSix exclusive Holiday Lights parallels per tin; Candy Cane ornament insert is one in three tins, per Topps RippedCompact gift or parallel chase
Advent Calendar24 packs x five cardsTwo exclusive Chrome Plaid parallels per calendar on Topps’s store listing; Topps Ripped describes 18 NICE List! die-cutsDaily countdown and format-exclusive inserts

These are different configurations, not an apples-to-apples price ranking. The Advent Calendar’s published Topps store listing showed $59.99 when checked September 28, with a scheduled October 21 release; price, stock, and release date can change. I have not used an unverified price to call the tin “cheap” or the Mega Box a better value.

Which one fits?

For a featured autograph/relic-or-Chrome slot, choose the Mega Box, but read that or carefully: an autograph is not guaranteed. For a tidy stack and Holiday Lights parallels, choose a tin. For opening something each day and chasing Making the NICE List! die-cuts, choose the calendar. The new Metallic Gingerbread Man and Snow Days designs, plus returning Hidden Elf search cards, give the set its holiday personality. No actual elves have been found in our office. Yet.

Before you buy

Topps’s store pages list the release day as October 21, 2026, subject to change, and pre-orders as final sales with payment at checkout. Check current price, availability, per-format odds, and terms before ordering. A product page is not a promise that your shop will receive stock on that day.
